~Peanut Butter Balls~
~Ingredients
~ 2 Cups Creamy Peanut Butter
~ 1/2 Cups Butter
~ 4 Cups Powdered Sugar
~ 3 Cups Rice Krispies**
~ 2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
~ 1/2 Block of Paraffin Wax, Chopped into Small Pieces(this keeps the chocolate from melting so quickly and getting all over your hands, while you eat the finished P/B Balls.) =)
~Step One
~ Melt peanut butter and butter in a saucepan, over low heat. In a large bowl, mix rice cereal and powdered sugar well. Pour melted ingredients over the cereal and sugar, blend together thoroughly.
~Step Two
~ Form into 1 inch or smaller balls, place on cookie sheets covered with wax paper, and let chill until firm in your refrigerator. (It is ok to allow them to chill over night.)
~Step Three
~ Melt the chocolate and the paraffin wax in a double boiler and keep melted while working with the balls. Using a spoon(or the tool used when dying eggs) dip balls in chocolate. Coat well and place on cookie sheets, covered with wax paper. Chill until firm and ready to eat.

My D.D.(my mom's mom) has made peanut butter balls at Christmas time for as long as I can remember.
They are deliciously rich and are best paired with a very large glass of cold milk!
They are easy to make and fun for the whole family to make together.
